The bugs drove us out of Edward Island Cove. 2 hours to journey to Tee Harbour at the foot of the Giant. A beautiful day, quite warm, but as we are quickly learning, the weather can change on a dime. There was a rain mid-afternoon; probably because I had been brave enough to put on a pair of shorts so that I could catch some rays on the foredeck. It did clear and we ate supper in the cockpit to the sound of thunder. And then the clouds came, and did they ever! They were probably the most awesome clouds we had ever seen. Next came the wind which put us on instant anchor watch as we were quite close to rock shelf which some Common Mergansers (?) were enjoying earlier. Gusts to 23 knots, and then quiet. And a rainbow.
