Anchored in Edward Harbour today. Another nice trip, skies had cleared. it was actually so nice today that the guys put on their shorts and tried the water. (feet only) It was cold! However, cold water does not stop bitey flies which came out in abundance. Every paradise has its nuisance. Keeps us honest.
Saw about 5 other sailboats today. A record for our time in Superior so far, except for the Thunder Bay flotilla. We had actually had neighbours in Loon Harbour last night.
Our first sighting of the Sleeping Giant today. First appeared as dark lumps on the horizon but we are quite close to it in Edward Harbour. Very impressive; even more so from the water than what I can remember from seeing it from land. Plans for tomorrow up in the air as the flies may drive us out.
